How We Work

A Straightforward
Process.

Every project is unique, but our approach is always collaborative. We begin by understanding your vessel, objectives and constraints, gathering the required input and defining the optimization strategy together. Throughout the project, we maintain a close dialogue with your team, allowing priorities and design choices to evolve as new optimization results become available. The result is an optimized hull, fully documented and ready for the next stage of your project.

    Gathering Input

    on your side
    • Initial hull shape in IGES/STEP format
    • 3D model of the appendages to be considered
    • List of relevant loading conditions
    • Operating profile & list of objectives
    • Naval architecture constraints (e.g. displacement, stability, LCB)
    • Geometrical constraints (hard points, tunnel thruster length, propeller clearance, key angles, etc.)
    • When hull-propeller interactions are expected to be significant: Kt-Kq curves & propeller characteristics (number of blades, P/D ratio, EAR)

    Project Definition

    Interactions
    • General project understanding
    • Discussions about ideal/alternative topologies & main dimensions
    • Definition of the objectives according to the operational profile
    • Clarifications of desired and acceptable deformations
    • Constraints definition

    Collaborative Optimization

The optimization runs fully automatically in the background, continuously exploring the design space.

Daily project reviews ensure that new insights are incorporated early, allowing objectives and priorities to evolve throughout the optimization.
